Leader Bio
Judy Kent started with CGC in 1987, and was Canada's first Chef de Mission at the 1994 Commonwealth Games. She was the President of Commonwealth Games Canada from 1994-1998. She was named Canadian Volunteer Sports Leader of the year in 1995; and in 2004 was included in a list of Canada's 20 Most Influential Women in Canadian Sport. Judy now owns Kent Consulting, a company specializing in organizational effectiveness, change management, and facilitation.

Judy attended a workshop in St. Lucia which focused on the strategic planning of the 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games. Topics of discussion during this conference included: legacy opportunities, visions for Sport 2017 and 2022 input, gap analysis of the areas between present and future visions, priority criteria and process for selection of sports for 2017 Commonwealth Youth Games, and individual sport plans.
